Baker

Baker, once called South Side or South Broadway, runs from West Sixth Avenue to West Mississippi Avenue between the South Platte River and Broadway, and takes its name from a junior high school. The Baker Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, and many of its early homes and churches were built in the Queen Anne style.
