Five Points

Five Points, often called the "Harlem of the West," was a regular stop for jazz musicians including Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong and Miles Davis. Its name comes from a five-point intersection at Washington Street, 27th Street, 26th Avenue and Welton Street, and the Black American West Museum is housed in the former home of Dr. Justina Ford, Denver's first Black female doctor.
